ForfeitYourDream answered Thursday May 25 2006, 7:20 pm: It hurt, but it's nothing unbearable. I'd say it's equivalent to gettin your bellybutton done. What I can tell you is thst the second piercing hurt more than the first one significantly. My friend who got one as well told me hers did too.
It hurt more after actually, because my hair got caught in the hole and whenever I touched it. Be sure to not touch it, because any contact basically kills. If you have long hair I'd suggest keeping it pulled back and away from your ears. DON'T get your hair cut within a few weeks of the healing time. It kills, trust me.
Notso answered Wednesday May 24 2006, 2:28 pm: While I haven't had an industrial done, I have had my cartiledge pierced and it was painful. The pain factor mainly comes from laying on your ear when you sleep, and partly because I have this weird habit of touching my ears when I talk or think.
