Nightmares

Question Posted Monday May 22 2006, 8:39 pm

OK, I don't know if anyone knows anything about dream meanings, but, I really need help with this one. It's disturbing to me. I had a nightmare that my 2 year old daughter was getting mauled & eaten by a tiger and the worst is nobody was doing anything about it. Any ideas?

Your daughter is getting to the stage where she is more mobile and more likely to have little accidents through curiosity. This plays on your sub conscious, which transfers it during sleep into a manageable dream of her being in an extreme situation, you feeling helpless and no one coming to her aid.
As our children get older, it is natural for us to become increasingly concerned about the world they are about to enter and the dangers they may face. We also know we cannot protect them forever.
All we can do is give them the grounding to identify and protect them from the 'tigers' and hope that they will stay safe.
You are having a perfectly normal, caring parental reaction to your daughter growing up.
Hope that helps, good luck.

maybe you ate something bad before you fell asleep.. or sometimes dreams or nightmares have nothing to do with the problem that is emotionally going inside you.. build up good karma... don't eat anything right before you go to sleep and clear you mind before you go to sleep.
