hairstlye for a formal party/get together

Question Posted Monday May 22 2006, 2:59 pm

I RATE!
My hair is long (almost half way down my back), dark browny redish, layered and slightly feathered at the sides, straight parted down the middle. I dont have a fringe its grown out but the hair that would of been my fringe (at the very front) comes just above my shoulders. My hair is kinda fly away.. like it sticks up at the top quite a bit.
My face is long and upside down egg shaped (oval) and is kinda chubby. Looking at my face from a side view its kinda wide and round

s considering all of the above my question is.. Im going to a party/gathering for my brothers football team awards thingy :S and i need some nice but simple hairstyles

Picture examples also highly appreciated. I RATE!

omg! we have like the same kind of hair...well, kinda. anyway, here's my suggestion: part your hair along the side of your face you like best (like, if you have acne, or somethin then the side with less acne) and part it far to the side. then, take the hair over to the side you didn't part on. then that side will have all the hair. so, the side with all the hair. we are focusing on that side now. you take the hair and kinda swoop it in front of you face, so it makes a little curtain just on your forhead. then tuck the hair behind your ear, so that the curtain is still there, but the har isn't. then, you take all of you hair that's hanging down, and pull it around to the side of your head that has no part. that way it's pretty simple, but can look formal/casual, is easy, and pretty sexy, i think...hope i helped! the other advice was good too. :-) oh, and here's a link to a pic that's KINDA wat u want. long hair swooping down on forhead. see? hope u get this.

hey, if you have a big face [ not making fun of you ], then big hair looks the best on it. having poofier hair compliments the bigger face types. try scrunching or crimping your hair. put in a stretchy headband and leave your hari down. fi that doesnt work do half up half down. cait♥
