Need to get my hair one colour again!

Question Posted Thursday May 18 2006, 3:17 pm

I am from Ontario, Canada
I used a Herbal essence red hair dye, and I want to go back to a lighter shade of red I usually tint my hair, but the last dye was so strong, a hardresser told me she would have to do a bleach/shampoo coctail to strip the dark red, before I could use my usual colour. My natural colour is medium brown with a slight auburn tint. What I would like to know is how can I do this at home to avoid the high salon price?

hey, well i think the best way to go would be the salons. why i say this is because you want to avoid all possible mishaps that will happen by doing it yourself. save for it. cait♥

Paul Mitchel Shampoo 3 - cleanser
it takes out all impuritys in your hair,
like dye, it strips the old color,
and it takes like chlorine out too.
its not that expensive either.

hope i helped.
