what are the chances of you geting pregnant if you miss a day to switch your patch if your fertile period is 15 days after your period and you start your period after how dose that work.

From what I've read about birth control, missing one day won't cause you to be at risk for pregnancy. With the Pill, missing one won't cause you to become pregnant, you just double up the next day. Since doubling up isn't possible with the Patch, as long as you put a new one on the next day you are absolutely fine. It's only one day.


And of course, if you didn't have unprotected sex the day you missed it, your chances are essentially zero. If you miss your period, take a test, but honestly since you only missed a day that's fine. I'm not sure how you worded your question, but if you've gotten your period [not just spotted] you're not pregnant.

just as long as you don't have sex on that day, you won't get pregnant for missing one day to change the patch.
