out of country hi, im wondering if any1 knows a reliable and safe place to look up forgein exchange students. see, my family was thinking about hosting somebody from new zeland or sending me to france. we were leaning towards the sending me out thing because it would be a cool experience. i found this one website and the people even sent me the information, but my mom isnt satisfied. she wants a site with government approval or somethign big like that. does anybody know a really good exchange program??

I agree with the person below me, usually high schools have student exchange programs and they are 100% reliable and safe. If your school doesn't offer any programs, you can ask them for help in finding one. I'm sure they'll be fine with giving you references.
Your mom is right with finding websites online, it could be very dangerous, especially with psychos and pediphiles all over the internet.

Well I don't know specific ones but I met this girl a few months ago from Belgium who is an exchange studnet and she told me that the family she is staying with now found her through our high school. So I would check with your school because I'm sure it would be safe then. ]
