parakeet
i have a parakeet and he poops seriously about every 5 minutes, and its not normal poop either.its sometimes watery and yellow/white.could he be sick?if so do you know what he might have?

That's normal, birds poo A LOT and OFTEN, about, like you said, every 5 minutes or so. It's what they do! They eat all the time, poo all the time. Birds only have one "hole" called the cloaca, and that's where they release all waste, so it's a mix of urine and feces, which is yellow/white and watery (changing slightly in color, etc. depending on what they have eaten).

ok, I'm not quite sure how informed you are with birds. And I may not be hitting the mark at all.
But, when birds go to the bathroom, the release both the urine and feces(poop) at the same time. This relust in a watery white/yellow goo, and might have some greenish brownish looking stuff in the middle.
I've had birds that did it a lot. They are messy animals when they live in a cage. It's quite gross.
My advice would be to call a veterinarian who deals with avians (birds). There may be nothing wrong with him, and the veterinarian can tell you for certain whether he may be sick or not.

Deffinitly don't know what type of sickness it is. But I do know that he is sick. My friend has a parakeet and hers doesnt poop that often. And, since its a yellow white, something is deffinitly wrong. It could most likely be the food your feeding it. Take it to the vet to make sure its not going to die or anything.
