With that just a hint of mascara, if you wish. I also think you should use a bit of neutral eyeshadow, like a tan, or light, light brown, or even a grey. Maybe something with a little bit of shimmer, but nothing way dramatic. Combonations like that look good with light blue-ish grey eyes. I would stay away form the blue and purple eyeshadows though, because cool colors don't always exactly match up with cool colored eyes. (cool as in the colors blue, purple, etc.) I hope this helps. Apply eye shadow FIRST! Here is a pic of the colors I think would be best for your eyes. (I'm a "aspiring" make~up artist) [Link](Mouse over link to see full location)
There are 3 colors in this pack. 1st shade=lightest color. 2nd shade=medium color
3rd shade=darkest color. First, apply the 2nd shade to the bottom, then fade out the 3rd shade going higher up on the eye and finish with 1st shade. Next step is eyeliner. Pick CHARCOL CARBON from CoverGirl. Taking your two fingers (of the non-dominant hand) gently pull back your top eyelid so that your lash line is straight. (This makes it easier to make a straight continuous line). Then, take your dominant hand (this hand should hold the eyeliner pencil) and gently make a soft line very as close as you can to your lash line. Open that eye and see how it looks. If it turns out a little crooked, just wash it off and try again. Practice makes perfect! Repeat to the other top eyelid. Then finish with mascara which is ALWAYS a must have!

Eyeshadow - Get some eyeshadow that actually shows up and isn't like a faded color. Go for a gray and dark blue combination. Start by covering your eyelid with the dark blue, then finish it off with the gray while layering it right above the top part of the dark blue. So it creates a smoky type of look.
Mascara - Go for a dark dramatic look, but don't overdo it. Make sure that your mascara isn't chunky otherwise it will turn out wrong.
Eyeliner - Don't use very thick layers, do simple thin ones, and if you want, use the end of your pencil or your finger to make it fade.

Foundation- If you're using powder dont use too much or it'll cake your face and show off any lines you might have. Also, use gentle strokes. If you apply the powder too hard you might rub away bits of the foundation and end up looking blotchy
Eyes-
Mascara- For your upper lashes, move the mascara applicator back and forth at the base of the lashes to put down some color, and then roll the brush horizontally through your lashes. Use full strokes.
Eyeliner- Use two pencils, a lighter and darker shade of the same color. Apply the lighter from the inner corner to the pupil, or just before, and then use the darker pencil to the outter edge (extending it as little or as much as you want). Then smudge the colors using either a good
eyeshadow brush or your finger (go lightly). Begin by smudging only slightly then gradually increase it if neccessary. If done properly this creates a lovely smoky effect using just a black pencil too.
-For cool-toned skin, consider going for pink, light blues, mauves and silver.
-For a warmer or darker complexion you should try colors such as bronze, gold, apricot and caramel.
OHilovetravis answered Friday May 5 2006, 10:01 pm: Hey Sweetie,
Ok im not BIG on makeup but I do know enough to get by on that subject, haha due to prom and etc. Well since your have like blue/grey eyes, you would want to either go with a just natural light brown. It would look really natural considering you have lightly tanned skin and dark brown hair. I have green eyes like woah an it shows alot an when I wear brown natural looking eye makeup it looks beautiful. Now on the other hand with color you couldn't really put a color into the brown it would be impossible to mix it, I wouldn't see how it would work unless you had like light blue or light grey or light white makeup that is probably the only colors you could mix. But from my point of view you should use brown. It would look pretty!
