AskGwen answered Friday May 5 2006, 3:01 pm: You should ask a customer service rep, but batteries work this way; when you get a battery for anything its usually dead and you charge it for 24 hours (receiving a full charge) you should not plug it back up until the charge is completely or almost gone. To re-charge it before its dead will only charge it to that capacity or point. If its half dead when plugged to the charger then it will only charge the battery half way (not the full charge you need). Never unplug the unit until it has a full charge or it stops the battery from accepting a full charge in future. If you do this a lot finally the battery stops charging alltogther. It sounds like this is what happened in both cases.
Take both phones and charger to Sprin, they can test and explain how to properly charge the phones. It may have cost involved as well to replace both batteries and chargers.
