guitar strings

i know guitar strings all depend on the person, but what is the best type of string for a begginer on an electric guitar?(light,regular,ect.)

start out with light strings, which are either .09 guage or .10 guage. the guage is varied by the high e string, and i believe its measured in mm. anything above .10 would probably be to heavy for a beginner.

honestly, ive been playing for 4 years, and on my electric, i still use .10, just because i likee feel, and it makes bends and such easier. however, on my acoustic, i use .12 because since it is heavier, it has a much better tone, but its more difficult to play

I don't know too much about guitars but try regular, so you can adjust to it and get used to using them.

If you have anymore problems/questions I would recommend asking MFS. He knows quite a bit about guitars.
