first examine the situation before jumping to conclusions. talk to your friend- but dont start yelling at them that its bad and all- it could hurt them even more. If you find out enough facts that they are- talk to their parents or a counsler.
if you dont, your putting your friends life in danger.

remember facts before stats.

in most cases of anorexia the person will have a low self esteem about themselves. they will tend to be more quiet and conserved. weight loss will be a big give away. sometimes your skin will start to color and your face pale. they will put themselves down a lot and try to stay on a big "diet" as she/he might call but probably actually starving themself. hope i helped and good luck with your situation

well first they will stop eating and deny they have a problem if you confront them. They then obsess over calories (for ex: "Do you know how many calories are in that chip you just ate?!") and over exercise. They are completely obsessed with food even though they don't eat it they talk about it all the time. They also compare themselves to other's bodies and they start becoming stick-like. It doesn't matter if they say "I'm fat" because some anorexics don't do that. If you have any other questions about it then just drop a question in my box.

Not eating, constantly comparing their body to others or putting themselves down (ex: "I'm fat") & of course the weightloss.
