Believe it or not this speeds up your metabolism. Cut out breads, pastas, fried foods, fast foods, and desserts. Do not eat T.V. dinners or pre-packaged foods. They are filled with chemicals that trigger the hypothalamus and/or thyroid to slow down. There have been studies done that prove the chemicals that are being put into our foods such as MSG and aspartame create lesions on the hypothalamus and results in obesity. Before a workout eat a high protein meal. This will help you to build lean muscle during your workout. Carry baggies of fresh fruits and/or veggies with you to snack on when you aren't where you can prepare your own meals. These will serve as your every two hour meals when you are out and about. Drink lots of water. A person should drink at least their body weight in ounces a day in water. That would mean that if you weighted 100 lbs. you should drink 100 ounces of water a day. Eat whole organic fresh foods. If you eat dairy, meats or eggs, make sure that they are organic free range. chickens should be grain fed and cows ideally should be grass fed. If all you can find is organic free-range grain fed cows, then that is the next best thing. Grain is not their natural diet but it is better than what is available in your conventional grocery stores. You need to stay away from meats in the conventional grocery stores because they are raised in horrid unethical conditions, which is why they have to use antibiotics on them. Under any other circumstances we would consider these methods as animal abuse. Because they are being raised for food every turns a blind eye. The antibiotics are given to them to keep the animals from getting too sick before they go to slaughter. They keep the animals pumped up on steroids and hormones that make the animals grow faster and get fatter. What do you think these chemicals are going to do to you if you ingest them? Chickens that use to take 6 months to raise are now raised in 6 weeks. Eat wholesome foods, develop healthy eating habits, keep yourself active, and you will never have a weight problem. Good luck on your quest!
