Beauty question - Tanning

Question Posted Saturday April 29 2006, 5:27 am

ok I wanna start tanning, so my question is, how do you do it? Like what do you wear? Underwear? Or do you go naked? And do you cover your eyes with something? And for how long do you need to do it? And how many times? Have you ever done it, if so, what were the results?

Just any details you could give me on tanning.
Thaank you. ♥

although tanning is bad for you, ive done it before. you just go to the tanning place and tell them you want a tan. most people for their first time start out with 6 or 8 minutes. then grow the more often they go. i think the maximum for most places is 20 minutes a day. personally, i like 10-15. you can wear anything you want. some people go naked. no clothes = no tan line. some others wear thongs or bikinis. when you get their they ask if you want goggles or like these sticker things. personally, i get the goggles. they reallyu work and do protect your eyes. and leave no marks whatsoever. and i know, you look like a total retard - but no one sees you besides them. you can do it as many times as you want. there no like limit. but im pretty sure you note allowed over 20 minutes a day. but you can go in the morning and do 8 then go later and do 12. or whatever. your gonna hear alot on how its bad for you and your skin [so i wont go there]- but just make sure you put sunscreen on. even if its like 8. its better than nothing. and then you dont get burned.

hope this helps!! :] ♥

you just lay in a tanning bed for 10 or 20 minutes. you can wear whatever you want. most people go naked so they don't have the tan lines. you can do it a few times a week. my friend goes like everydayh and shes really tan. when you go tanning talk to the people that work there. they will ell you all about it. and theyw ill probably suggest a tanning lotion.
hope i helped

you can get a tan a number of ways-you dont have to use sunbeds. Having a spray tan is a great way to have a tan without the risks of skin cancer and premature aging. I had one the other week and it came out a really nice golden brown. If you are quite pale like me, you should get a paleish tan as a really dark one can make you orange. You can either go into a booth wer you stand ther and a machine sparys you but these can go wrong easily. I went to a proffesional salon and had a spray tan. you have to go topless and you can either wear a thong of your own (that you dont mind gettin orange) or some give you a paper thong. You wear goggles in some and others just tell you to close your eyes. Its not embarrasing like you may think, the staff will put you at ease and ther is no need to feel insecure, staff have seen women(and men) in all different shapes and sizes and evryone is beautiful and unique. Or you could buy a fake tan you can apply yourself but these are often streaky and orange so make sure you get a good one which is streak-free. A moisturiser with a hint of fake tan in it are usually good as they dont have as much fake tan in them and the moisturiser evens it out while smoothing your skin! You dont need to go on sunbeds to get a gr8 tan. Its our chocie but there are so many risks like skin cancer and premature aging and you will be really sore afterwards as you will have bad sunburn and you will be red as the tan only develops a couple of days or even weeks after you went.

Hope i have helped,
kerry x

a lot of people go tanning. it isn't good for you, but if you wanna do it go ahead. i never tanned before, but there was a girl in my school that went tanning & she turned orange, so make sure whereever you go is good. don't overdo it. it's really bad for your skin & can even cause skin cancer. i'm not saying you shouldn't do it, because it's your own opinion & stuff, juss make sure you research a lot on it. you wear a bikini, probably why you're going to wear during the summer. most people use tanning goggles. you should only do it a few times a month. not a lot. here's a few websites-
