i ahve a young female bird. and sometimes she bleeds. i dont know where the blood is commong from. i dont see it on her feet. do female birds get periods?

To be honest I don't know, but I would doubt it considering that birds lay eggs and do not have a womb as many mamals do.

It could be that she has some kind of parasite that she's pecking to get rid of, and making herself blead, but you should really consult a reputable website or vet about it.
