Hey Sherry!
I read your responses to the low carb diets and they were fantastic. You're gorgeous and you look great! So I was suprised that you lost 25 pounds by the low carb diets. Maybe you can help me out. =D
I only weigh 120 pound but keep in mind that I'm only 5 foot. Short, I know! lol I'm not over wight, I'm pretty healthy looking. I just want to be able to get down to 100 and then tone up with some muscle. But I've been on the Atkins before and that was the only diet that I had weight loss on. Unfortunally it came back. I'm going to live in California for college to meet up with my boyfriend this summer and I want to lose 20 pound sometime by early June. ( I tried South Beach and hated it, so I wanna stick with Atkins)
My questions to you are :
How do I keep the weight off? * I Struggle with carbs big time. I love starchy foods and everytime I'm off a low carb diet I go crazy. I don't know how to resist those temptations.
After you lose the amount of weight you desire do you need to continue living life without carbs? * I don't want to end up gaining back the weight and that is a major concern for me.
Any additional information you want to share with me would be helpful to. But that's entirely up to you! =D Thank you so much! You're the best!!

Sherry answered Monday April 24 2006, 8:29 pm: Sadly, I gained all the weight back, and even more. This is one of the bad things about the diet...you have to stick to it =) And I suck at that. So I think you should just have low carb cookies, cakes, and bars around so if your dying for some chocolate or carby foods....you have low carb options. But make sure you only have those after your strict phase.
After you lose the weight, you are still watching your carbs but you can still have a little extra once in a while!
I strongly reccommend going to www.lowcarbcafe.com for information && join the message board..because great people who have been on the diet for years will give you advice++support!
