just confused!!!
Okay this boy i've asked him if he liked me he said yea kind of that sort of thing so i asked would you ever go out with me he said oh sure yes but he said u can't or something because of his friends but what i don't get is he went out with this girl who was way shy and quiet and im very energetic and stuff so could his friends be an excuse to him not going out with me????

Maybe his friend likes you too and he doesn't want to throw his friendship away over a girl. Also, this may sound harsh, but maybe his friends don't like you. Do you have a reputation of cheating or just generally using guys? I'm not saying you do, but I am saying that you could be "one of those girls his friends warned him about".
