not a fan of relationships!

Question Posted Sunday April 23 2006, 2:36 pm

I hate serious relationships/having a boyfriend. I'm just not a big fan of the whole 'love' thing at this point in my life. I like flirting & I like having fun. There's this one guy who's great and I wouldn't mind having fun with him (in a clean way). He wants a relationship with me. How do I go about telling him that I really do like him but for now, I don't want him to expect me to change soon & want him to be my boyfriend.

The best thing to do would be to wait a little while and see if yours or his feelings change. If you wind up liking him thats great if you dont thats ok too because theres always someone else! and no matter what you guys always have a chnace of being friends =]

good luck hun

♥

Just tell him.

That might sound flippant, but honestly, this is one of those times when it just makes sense to TALK. Tell him exactly what you've said here; you expressed it very well in your question. That's all there is to it!

And good for you, by the way. You know what you want, and you're not afraid to say so. It's a very good thing indeed that you're not giving in to the pressure to have a boyfriend right now; there are a lot of girls who would have caved in, and ended up misterable.

You've got a great head on your shoulders. If you can stay that sensible for the rest of your life, I think you'll do really well.
