Low Calorie Diet

Question Posted Saturday April 22 2006, 6:22 pm

I'm on a low calorie diet right now, and I've already lost about 5 pounds since I started. I'm just wondering if I eat junk food every so often, but still stay at an amount of calories that I've limited myself to so I can lose weight, will it have any affect?

Will the junk food, although within my daily limit of calories, affect my body negatively by gaining back weight or anything like that?

By junk food what I mean is things like a cinnamon bun or a cookie or something. I'd count them under calories when adding it up for a day however..

well from what i read...it seems liek you wanna get thin, or loose weight yeah? well best way to loose weight isnt jsut with dumb low calorie diets...eff that, if you really wanna lose some weight go on a low carb diet, and watch what ur eating...meaning no junk food...and the most important part of the formula is to exercise at teh gym...atleast...ATLEAST 3-4 times a weeks for liek an hour sor soo...if you reallly wanna get thin then you will do this...and if you do this right and stay on track by avoiding outside influences and desires...u'll drop liek 10 pounds within 2 weeks...btu dont go bolemic thats one of teh worst things you can do

If it's a low calorie diet, it's just that.
Low calorie. It;s about staying within the limits right? So, if your not going outside the limits you should still lose weight. It doesn't mean it's healthy for you, but you'll still lose the weight.

Any health teacher who says that is an idiot. Sorry but I had to say that.

Look let's take a logical look at the situation-

-You are on an already restricted calorie diet so you body is not performing at its peak.

-You probably don't eat freuqently enough (6 meals) throughout the day for this to work

-You want to ingest empty calories that have absolutely no value to them at all whether it's a low calorie diet or not.

Cheating doesn't mean eating a whole bag of cheese doodles or a half a pizza...maybe a few cheese doodles and a slice or 2 at the most of pizza every about 4 weeks. If you cheat every single week...guess what's happening? Thats right you are going to get fat and your diet will crash. I could get all technical and all that stuff but here it is simply:

Yes your body will be affected negatively.

Yes to your feedback by the way.
