If it's umcomfortable, or even extremely noticable, and if it's leaking, that means it's in the wrong place.
Otherwise you should be fine. ]
If it hurts, you put it in wrong or if he feels like it's about to fall out. You should change it quite often because you don't want to get TSS. Change it like every 2-4 hours.. depending on how heavy it is! ]
I can't see how you could have put it in the wrong place, chances are if you feel like it's too long, you actually haven't put it far enough in.
It's a little nerve racking I know, but the tampon really has to go all the way in for it to be comfortable and to protect you. You shouldn't be able to see anything but the string. Next time you try to put a tampon in try putting it in a bit deeper. I bet that will help. ]
Uhh theres really only one place a tampon will fit. If you walk and you feel alot of pain then chances are you shoved the tampon in you. You shouldnt keep a tampon in for longer then 8 hours. ]
when you know its in the right place, it shouldnt hurt and you should be comfortable ..the longest you leave the tampon in is 8 hours ]
