when you ride a roller coaster or when you are riding in a car and you go down a hill really fast...you get a weird feeling, like your stomic moves or somthing....does your stomic really move? or why do you get that feeling?...i'll rate high for this one
What happens with a roller coaster is your body is moving, but your internal organs are inclined, because of inertia, to remain at the top of the hill. Because they are attached and contained within you, your organs stay with you, but you get that weird feeling. [ NinjaNeer's advice column | Ask NinjaNeer A Question ]
Notso answered Thursday April 20 2006, 11:04 pm: Your stomach does not move. Your insides/guts whatever are arranged so they aren't just free floating around inside. Does your face move when you lay upside down? No, your stomach doesn't either.
While I don't know the exact reason for why you get that feeling, I know it is due in part to gravity, the cart goes down the hill, and your body is still waiting to catch up with it (you know how you usually end up floating a little bit above the seat, and then drop into it?).
