Okay, EVERYTIME i try to download a text-document, like any document with anything written in it like a project, or just anythings..it wont work. It'll open..but just be a bunch of weird symbols and letters. What's wrong? What do I need to download?

i had the same problem. when i would take things on a floppy into school.. it would be a whole bunch of letters and symbols like rectangles and stuff.. this is whats wrong- you don't have the same version that they had to make the document... when you have to do is find out what they used to write the document and rather download that program or open it on a different computer.. =]

i think you might have a different program installed than the one you are trying to download. that could mean that instead of having microsoft word, you have microsoft works word processor. check to see if that's it. that's what happened to me so try it. <3
