back burner.

Question Posted Tuesday April 11 2006, 5:48 pm

i hope you can help me.
13/f

ive been dating this guy for about a month now and hes the greatest. we dont go to the same school - so its hard but we make it work. sometimes he seems to favor his frieds over me but i never come before them. its hard to deal with always being on the "back burner". he often "forgets" to call me back and always makes excuses. what should i do? should i talk to him about it and tell him how i feel? or should i suck it up? thanks. oh & dont say like break up please - i want this to work.

I definitely don't think that you should break up over this. You should tell him how you feel because if you just keep it bottled up, this will continue to bother you. Talk to him alone while his friends aren't there, and tell him how you feel. It won't hurt you, but instead will make you stronger. Tell him, and get this situation resolved-it's for the best. I hope I helped, and if you need someone to talk to, my ears are always open.
