The thing is that you have to stick to it. But still the best thing you can do to lose weight is to eat a little bit of everything just learn portion control, also if you eat every 3 to 4 hours you will keep your metabolism up and that will keep you burning fat. Just remeber to eat healthy because if you eat pizza every 3 to 4 hours its not going to help much.

SeriousAsAHeartAttack answered Sunday April 9 2006, 6:46 pm: Honestly, you shouldnt do ANY of those fad diets. Truth is, once your off it youll gain all of the weight back. Do a natural diet, its alot better for you anyways. For instance, you couls just switch all your junk food to fruits, and veggies. eat skinless chicken and fish, veggie burgers, and a whole lot of water. get plenty of excersize too. its working for me! If you really dont wanna give up junk food, i know that just by excersizing and cutting everything you eat by half (even if it is junk food) you can lose a good amount of weight. just be patient. if you decide to do a normal diet, just eat about 1200 calories a day. good luck!!! KaTiE_LyNn answered Sunday April 9 2006, 6:30 pm: my mom and sister went on it. and during phase one, they both lost a good bit of weight. but phase two it slowed down. some weeks they lost a little weight, some weeks they even gained. if you're still young, you shouldn't do it. because growing people need carbs, and south beach diet eliminates them.
