I need a short poem/story for my child developement class but i cannot find one anywhere! any ideas on where on its? I reading the poem and making my own kinda draw and tell story out of it so i want a cute little poem that has to do with family love (mainly mom) because It has to go along with our them franklin says i love you (and mothers day as well)
any suggestions? (also its going to be read to 4 year olds so it must be easy to understand on not that long!)
Mother you filled my days with rainbow lights,
Fairy tales and sweet dream nights,
A kiss to wipe away my tears,
Gingerbread to ease my fears,
You gave the gift of life to me,
And than in love you set me free,
I thank you for your tender care,
For deep warm hugs and being there,
I hope that when you think of me
A part of you, you'll always see.
You've been there for me when I needed you
You showed me the way when I had no clue
You helped me out when no one cared
You protected me when I was scared
You believed in me with a great power of meekness
You helped me conquer my fears of weakness
In our lives, there is so much drama
though I am very lucky to have you have you as my Momma!! [ Dominicangrl123's advice column | Ask Dominicangrl123 A Question ]

Oh I love my mommy,
She keeps me safe a warm.
she's always there when I need her,
even when there's a storm.
She hugs and squeezes me tight,
an tells me not to worry everything will be alright.
When she kisses me goodnight,
an barely makes it to the light
I tell her I love her an she makes everything alright.
