punishments
people I need help. Im not a parent but I'm writing a project and I need to make it funny, so what are some weird ways of punishing your children when they've done something really bad, like smoke pot, or something?? And it has to be strict.
Got any ideas?

I would ground my daughter if I ever found out she were smoking or doing drugs. She would never leave the house, so she wouldn't get anymore of the drug. She would also be in counseling.

My kids are still little yet but i tell you what if i caught my kids smoking or playing with fire or something id scare them to death so they wouldnt ever touch it again. Plus my son ussually gets into lots of trouble i just put him in a box and tell him im shipping him to china lol that ussually straightens him out and he stops what ever it was hes doing. lol talk to you later hope iv helped

Well, my children are young, so I don't have to worry about the smoking pot yet...but I know that if I do find my child smoking pot or drinking ect., well I would first try and find out if there are tours or something like that at like a detention center, or a hospital, to let them see first hand what drugs and alcohol would lead to. Now, if I find out about them having sex, well I would find someone that I knew with a baby or toddler. Then ask them if my child could babysit for them for an entire weekend. That weekend they are totally responsible for the wants and needs of that child. They are not allowed to ask for help with anything. they will have to cook, clean, and do everything that goes along with the day to day care for the child...just to show them what responsiblities that come along with having sex....

Hmm....well....my Mum always said that if she ever caught me smoking, she'd make me smoke the entire pack of cigarettes one by one! That scared the hell out of me and I've never touched a cigarette!!!!!

Basically, think of what you would never want your parents to do.
A classic weird punishment for a kid who smoked, etc. is making them do that til they get sick. My mom generally uses embarassment tactics. You could do something like make them wear hideous clothing, or make them listen to only (insert most hated music here)

You don't specify it has to be a punishment for teens. So, I will tell you my sons way of getting the message across to my grand kids.
Works very well because they hate it. As do their friends whose parents love it too.
He calls it boot camp day care. I have 5 grand kids. 4 of them are old enough for the day care treatment. The youngest is not quite 2 and thinks its a game so he does occasionally try it out.
Now my son has friends who each have a couple of kids. Quite frequently since they all live in town, there can be as many as 8 to 10 kids visiting. That usually means trouble! When they get up to something particularly bad like fighting this is what happens.
They all have to lay on their backs. They then have to lift their legs off the ground a few inches and hold them there. The classic leg lift exercise.
Those new to it think its all cute for a few minutes...then, well you try it! Moaning and squalling begins.
One thing certain. If they are rotten kids, they will have strong leg muscles when they get older.
They are all very well behaved by the way. They rarely get the boot camp. Guess maybe it has worked. :)
