I have a hugeeee crush on my best friend. Here's the problem--he wants to be a priest. Hes never had a gf(ive never had a bf either) he says he would date girls, and hes prob. telling me the truth. Ive liked him for about a year, and all my friends think he likes me. He told me that he would neverrrr go to a dance with a girl cus he hates dances, but i asked him to go to one and hes like "yah sure I'd love to"
We talk about how everyone thinks we like eachother. He has never denied not liking me. He always just finds some excuse to change the subject. If he likes me, how could I get him to tell me? DONT tell me to tell him i like him, i know that is an option, but i just wanna hear more. thanks in advance<3

People start rumors and can lie, so you don't really know anything unless you ask him yourself. If it would make you more comfortable, you could ask him on the phone so you won't be nervous with seeing his facial expression and stuff. Maybe he just thinks of you as a friend, or maybe he does like you and wants to go out. If you're already bestfriends with him, I think you should ask him, or have a trusted friend ask him, who you know will tell you the truth.
