how can i help my friend?

my friend just go done telling me that she is cutting herself and is throwing up her food all because she is depressed how can i help her without sounding like im her parent...?:\

well thats not really something YOU should be handleing. talk to a counselor or any adult.

Hey,
I used to be just like your friend...and I think that from being in her position that I think you should tell someone who will be able to get her help...I wish someone had done that with me..

So tell someone you trust and who you know will make the right decisions as to what kind of help she needs.
