depends what kind you take. but it doesn't make you fat, it just increases your appetite, which makes you want to eat more. talk to your doctor about which one is best for you

birth control does not make you fat depending on the bran you are taking. there are about 564365432 kinds out there. i take birth control. but in my opinion im already fat but ive been taking it for about 4 months and i havent gained weight because of it.

It really depend on which birth control you use. All have there consequences some good some bad. Typical weight gain for some birth control is 5-7 lbs. You will not gain weight with every single one. Once you talk to your doctor yall can discuss together which one would be best for you. *Ortho TriCyclen Lo*(pills you take everyday) also clears up acne problems. *Depo* (shot you get every 3 months) stops your periods all together. There's so many different ones I could go on and on. If your mature enough to remember (Im still not at 23 lol) you can take the pill everyday but it has to be took at the EXACT same time everyday Ive been on Ortho and I didnt gain any weight.

Ive been on birth control for nearly two years now and i weigh less now then what i did back then. I never gained weight. But it comes down to the individual.
I guess it comes down to ur eating habits and exercise routine.

it depends which kind... my friend is on the depo-perva (sp) and she gains 5 pounds a month. I don't think the other ones have the same affects tho.. ask your doctor before they put you on it. <3
