i've been dying to now: in Rent the movie what r they talking about when they talk about baggage. cuz it comes up so many times and i dont kno wat it is. its been killing me!

As you move through life you experience things that stay with you. That is emotional baggage. People tend to bring baggage into relationships and it can be very hard for the other person to deal with it, since they have not been there for the past experiences. All the things that stay with you. For example, if you got your heart broken once and from then on you are a very emotionally unaavailable person because you want to avoid getting your heart broken again, that would be baggage. Everyone has some sort of emotional baggage. I hope I cleared things up for you.
