heyy.. i want to be a singer or a model.. people say that i should get an agent to like set me up for different record labels and modeling agencies and stuff
i wanna try both and the one i get more successful in, i'll do.. but my question is.. do you have to get seperate agents.. like a music agent and a modeling agent or do agents just help and set yu up with all that kinda stuff
Igotamonopoly answered Sunday March 19 2006, 4:59 pm: Okay. To model, you need an agent. It is almost impossible to become a model. Being a model is about more than just a pretty face. To get signed with a recrd label, you need to make a demo, and get an agent and have it sent to an agency my your manager/agent. You can't just send one yourself. If you aren't a size 0, and at least 5'8'', you wouldn't get booked for runways. Maybe you'd do catalogs, but that's highly nlikely. I suggest pursuing other talents.
