Hey, I have a weird question, kinda...Lol.
So I signed up for a couple of account things on this credit card, and I'm thinking about cancelling the credit card account.
If I cancel this card, will the memberships I have be cancelled as well?
They're supposed to bill that card for the memberships, but if I cancelled the card, they wouldn't be able to bill it, would they? Or would they just send bills to my address and I'd have to pay with another card?
Proper spelling and grammar is appreciated. Thanks!
Additional info, added Wednesday March 8 2006, 10:52 pm: I realize that came out a little wrong, kinda.
I mean, I signed up for these things on the 'net that I have all intentions of cancelling, but I never get a chance to call when their "business hours" are, so I haven't cancelled them yet. My question is, would cancelling the card (which I intend to do anyway) cancel those things, too?. Want to answer more questions in the Work & School category? I've been there as well with regards to trying to contact a business during their business hours. It can be difficult. If you signed up on line then you can still access your account on line. What you can do is go to account information or whatever section (everyone labels it different) that has information about how the account works. You will have to read it. They usually cover all of their bases and let you know exactly what to expect if you do certain things. Also, usually companies have an on line customer service that you can direct questions to. You can ask them this question, though it does take some time for them to respond sometimes, but it is an option. Good luck with this. I know how frustrating it can be to try to get a hold of these online businesses. IT's not easy.

Otherwise, if you cancel the card first, you'll most likely have an interruption in service with the accounts until you get a payment arrangement straightened out. There's also the issue that if the accounts are turned in on your credit, they'll show up as a late pay if your card declines and they have to wait for a payment.
