tasuki answered Tuesday March 7 2006, 7:08 pm: If you have spyware, finding a new music program shouldn't be your top priority. Seriously, you should be more concerned with installing firewalls and anti-spyware. If you don't, your computer will be greatly harmed.
Anyway, I've heard that Ares is the best one but there is still a risk of getting spyware from it. I think someone else mentioned this, but Bearshare probably gave you the spyware to begin with. [ tasuki's advice column | Ask tasuki A Question ]

Anyways,download either Limewire or Ares.Last time I checked,Limewire didn't have any spyware at all.If it does,it's nothing to worry about.Ares is a good alternative to Limewire,but be careful which one you download.Search for the regular version and download that.When I first got it,I downloaded something that was called "Ares Lite",and you could tell that there was something wrong with it since it was full of advertisements and barely gave any results when you searched.If the main screen says "Ares is a free program",or something when you start it up,then you're fine. fabulous11 answered Tuesday March 7 2006, 4:24 pm: I would say that that is a good thing because i had bearshare and it crashed my compute soyou probably dont want it. The only otheds i know of that dont cost are limewire and aries(im pretty sure thats what its called.)
