I asked a question on here about my weight and i got that im not over weight by all but one person and so im going to attempt a diet.
I started 3 days ago. lol well ive cut down on the snack foods and alot of food all together. And its fine i guess But i have no idea what i can and cannot eat. Do i count calories or saturated fat.?
Also i drink alot of soda and i probly can't give it all up. I can maybe make it one or two a day but i dont think not drinking them is a choice. Unless there is something better out there.
And exercises i live in maine so im not up to running around outside and i dont have exercises machines at home so anything i could do in the house to help me out a little bit?
Any websites would be nice but easy to read ones would be nice.

Forget about fat and carbs, all you need to do is restrict your caloric intake.
I don't care what you eat, eat ice cream and snickers bars if you like, just don't consume more than 1000-1200 calories in a day.
If you eat lower calorie food then you will get to eat "more" than if you use up all you calories for the day in a burger and fries, but it's you choice!
Exersize will definitely speed up the process but is not necessary to lose weight. If you want to exersize indoors, try a kick boxing dvd such as Billy Blanks Tae Bo.
Teza answered Sunday March 5 2006, 9:50 pm: I hate the word diet!! It means you can't have this, you can't have that and that's not how you loose weight. You should still eat your normal foods in smaller porportions. Of course you should know that fried foods,junk food,sweets,fats and such are all bad for you so you want to have less of that. It would be good if you counted your calories. Do you know how much you ate before. Around 3,000 or what? Well, you should try going down to about 1500-2000 calories a day. You need to burn more calories than you take in so exercise!! Walk for about an hour, run, do whatever you like but make sure you try and do it every day. Soda is bad, but swich to diet soda. It doesn't have as much calories as regular. I used to like soda but then I swiched to flavored water and I got lemon lime and it had sodium in it so it tasted like soda. I love water so I drink a lot of it and juices .. but not with all that sugar in it. I hate vegtables but I made myself things that are actually good and healthy at the same time. Since you don't have a tredmill at home, try going outside. I mean it won't hurt you. If you have a dog.. walk it. Any activity really but walking would be the best.
