STACEESxADVICE answered Saturday March 4 2006, 3:06 pm: I have the same problem. Just go to your nearest hair salon or if you want a cheaper price, try RiteAid or CVS and they have a large aisle with hair-care products. Look for a static guard.. it normally looks like it's in a hair spray bottle. This should help. And I'm pretty sure there's a BedHead product for frizz/static as well.
Nallie answered Saturday March 4 2006, 2:17 pm: I have always had fine "fly away" hair. I have to use water everytime I brush my hair. I found that the heavier the hair is the less static it attracts. Try using gel or the stuff I like, which is hair wax. Just put a little on your palms, rub them together and pat your hair with it before and after brushing. [ Nallie's advice column | Ask Nallie A Question ]
jeanine278972 answered Saturday March 4 2006, 1:57 pm: Mist it with a little bit of hairspray before and after you brush it. It stops the static for a while. And they also have stuff called like Static-Guard or something like that. Its for hair or clothes and prevents static all together [ jeanine278972's advice column | Ask jeanine278972 A Question ]
aquababe1 answered Saturday March 4 2006, 1:29 pm: you can either brush it when its wet, like if your in the shower (which is what i have to do) or, you can spray "Rusk, Shining". which is what i use. and im pretty sure you can get it at rite aid or cvs... and then comb your hair. it'll keep it less staticky, and it'll be shiny and smooth [ aquababe1's advice column | Ask aquababe1 A Question ]
