static

Question Posted Saturday March 4 2006, 11:37 am

Everytime I brush my hair it gets really staticky. I use a drier sheet, but like the next time I brush it all the static comes back.

Is there anyway to prevent this?

I have the same problem, especially after I straighten my hair. I think that you should try Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine Leave-In Weightless Anti-Frizz serum. That's what I use, and it works really well. It comes in a small green round bottle, and it has orange accents. It costs about $6 and it smells really good. It's available at all drugstores and retail stores such as Wal*Mart.

I have the same problem. Just go to your nearest hair salon or if you want a cheaper price, try RiteAid or CVS and they have a large aisle with hair-care products. Look for a static guard.. it normally looks like it's in a hair spray bottle. This should help. And I'm pretty sure there's a BedHead product for frizz/static as well.

I have always had fine "fly away" hair. I have to use water everytime I brush my hair. I found that the heavier the hair is the less static it attracts. Try using gel or the stuff I like, which is hair wax. Just put a little on your palms, rub them together and pat your hair with it before and after brushing.

Mist it with a little bit of hairspray before and after you brush it. It stops the static for a while. And they also have stuff called like Static-Guard or something like that. Its for hair or clothes and prevents static all together

you can either brush it when its wet, like if your in the shower (which is what i have to do) or, you can spray "Rusk, Shining". which is what i use. and im pretty sure you can get it at rite aid or cvs... and then comb your hair. it'll keep it less staticky, and it'll be shiny and smooth
