Hey I have the JBL On State speakers for the iPod. It hooks up with...I think an 18V adapter, plugged into the wall. My question is...I know there are ways to take the car charger adapter [the one that goes into the cigarette lighter] and plug that into something so you can then take that and plug it into a wall and have it work. Is there one like that that goes the opposite way, like you would be able to plug it into a car? Or is there any kind of portable battery source which you could carry around to plug in the 18V adapter into and have it work for a few hours. Thanks in advance, will rate.

It plugs into the cigarette lighter and has 2 outlets on it that you can plug just about anything you want into it. At the time it cost about $80, I'm not sure how much they cost now and there could be cheaper versions of them, but be assured...they do exist! Here is an example of one, sorry I couldn't find anything else. My suggestion for you is to go to Radio Shack or a similar store and ask for a DC to AC cigarette lighter adaptor.
