Question Posted Thursday February 23 2006, 4:15 pm

Does anyone know if the Invisalign works? I was thinking about getting Invisalign instead of braces...has anyone had any experience with it?

i havent had experience in them but i have seen someone with them and they looked nasty because they were foggy and stuff (eww!) but also it will take longer than braces! so its your choice

I havent personally used it because I dont need braces, but I have heard that it does work & really well. Plus you dont have like metal in your mouth & noone can even tell you have them =D So if your afraid of looks wise, then there the way to go, but their more expensive.

I think that awesome but if your dentist doesn`t recommend them then most likely you can`t use them.. Talk to your dentist about them and see what he/she says..♥Dez

if your dentist doesn't recommend it, then it doesn't have as good as an outcome as the common-type braces.

I recommend getting the regular metal braces. They work a whole lot quicker, they`re actually cheaper than invisalign, and easier. It`s your teeth & money though, so just go for which ever you want. ♥ Allie.

in theory it works.
but in practical application, it is not so great.
it only works on some people and it depends if the dentist knows what he is doing or is just pretending he knows what he is doing.

I reccomend the metal ones.

they work better and help you to develop character.

i have. i would get regular braces because the invisalign only work on certain people's teeth, and it doesnt even straighten your teeth all the way.
