Solar is just a name brad type of acrylic nails that looks better and costs a few dollars extra. It's original acrylic and nothing else; it's not like that pre made gel shit some places have. [ betterthanyou_X3's advice column | Ask betterthanyou_X3 A Question ]
corinne<3 answered Monday February 20 2006, 5:00 pm: well for solar nails they use two diferent kinds of powders to make the french tip a "pink" and a white so they look more natural, and sence they're not painted, they wont chip. i personally used to get those ones even tho they cost a little more theyre worth it! but right now short bold nails are DEFF in! =) [ corinne<3's advice column | Ask corinne<3 A Question ]
MissAdvice101 answered Monday February 20 2006, 12:06 am: Hey,
Umm I wish I could answer your question, but I have no idea wtf Solar Nails are. I do know that acrylics are when you get tips glued to the tips of your nails, and the ppl doing your nails take a paint brush and "paint" over tope of them w/ a hardening nail solution called acrylic. Hope I helped :)
