alright, firs tof all im prude lol
alright then, well i dont really know what this is, its just a "problem" im having..... All the guys in my school are like obsessed with gurls and getting sex and smokin weed and shit and im not in to that. I am into true love shit and i dont drink or smoke. I never have had like the feeling of wanting a girl like these guys do, i dunno what wrong with me.... i dotn knwo if its caus eim like super prude, like when i think about having sex with a girl i feel like its would "mess up" our friend ship or something, i really dont know. I think it would be wierd to ahve sex with someone your such good friends with, i dunno why i ahve that "idea" in ym head about sex...... can you help me figure out whats wrong with me :-D

There's nothing wrong with you. If you're not ready for sex or just don't want it, that's your decision, and don't let anyone at your school bother you or tell you differently. In a relationship, love, trust, friendship, and companionship are the most important things, and that's what most of the guys at your school are missing when they're just trying to get sex.
If you get into a good relationship with someone that you have a real connection with, you may start feeling that sex isn't such a bad thing for the relationship. But really, it's up to you at that point. Sex is an expression of love and it requires a high level of trust, but so does staying committed to a relationship, and there's no need to have sex if you don't want it.

nothing at all is wrong with you, your probably just more mature mentally then all of those other pricks that your talking about. (This is coming from a girl too)I think its great that your into true love it shows your a good person inside and there arent too many guys that are like that but thats what most girls actually want. true love. take it from me, ive been on both sides of the divide. I used to be all into the drugs alcohal and sex scene and it was all fake. everyone was lying and cheating and just trying to impress everyone else. so i stopped hanging out with those people and sure i lost a few friends but i gained some too and im a whole lot happier now. that idea you have in your head is correct sex messes things up for a lot of people and most kids in highschool dont realize what it can do to you mentally or physically but dont think anythings wrong with you, they'll all grow up sooner or later and realize you were right all along. and just keep lookin for that perfect person, theyre out there somewhere and im sure theyll be very happy to know that you dont just think of sex as an activity to do 24/7 i know id be happy to hear that.

Put it this way - if all men in the world thought the way you did, there would be a LOT more happy women.
What you feel about all this is VERY normal, but usually for people who are a lot older. Put simply, it just means you're a lot more mature than the other guys who think it's okay to do illegal drugs and drink and treat girls like dirt and it means you will go on to make some very lucky girl very happy.
You already realise that sex without love is pointless, that drugs are stupid and unsafe and that there's very little point in drinking too much. These are all fantastic qualities that you should pride yourself on and not feel embarrassed or ashamed of. While the other guys are out there wasting time, money and health on getting drunk or stoned and scoring with girls, you'll be the one who will be better off because you'll have more fulfilling relationships, do better in school and girls will think you're wonderful because after being dumped by all these guys that they will think of as 'scumbags', there you will be!
Honestly, you have nothing to worry about and you need to accept that the way you feel is something you should view as attributes, rather than disadvantages.

Nothing is wrong with you and you're not prude. You're just mature for your age. Don't worry about sex. When you're older and the time is right everything will fall into place. In other words you may be mature for your age, but you still have yet to mature some more. There are many people out there that feel just like you. Not everyone is into sex and drugs. A lot of the people that say that they are are really just pretending in order to fit in or because they think it's cool. You are completely normal and you have nothing to worry about at all.
