Running I really want to run. Even if I run for five minutes or sometimes less I get really tired. I want to try to run, but when I run on my treadmill I get bored and don't feel like it. I don't want to run around my neighborhood because I don't want people to see me. And I don't want to go to a track because I don't want to embarass myself. What should I do?

the treadmill really sounds like the only solution for your problem, even though it may be boring. if you need to, position the tv so you can look at it while you're running, and concentrate on the show. people usually forget that they are running, or they don't notice when they get tired when their mind is on something else. once you're in okay shape, try getting some fresh air. you shouldn't be worried about people seeing you because at least you're out there trying to run! if your school has a track, try running with a friend after-school for a half an hour or so until you get the feel of it. hope i helped :) and good luck! getting in shape is tricky, but once you're there you feel great. ]
