What is it called....

Does anyone know what programs are out there to cut up videoes to make them smaller so you can post them online? I didnt know what to look for. even if you could tell me what to put into google to look...thinks and sorry if it was confusing.

It sounds like you need some video editing software. You can visit [Link](Mouse over link to see full location) and do a search for video editing. If you're looking for free software, do the search and then scroll to the bottom of the page to the filter options and change "all licenses" to "free" and click update.


Make sure the video you're using is either yours or public domain. You don't want to end up in legal hot water for using video you're not authorized to use.

When you say cut up do you mean like shorten in the way of cutting out scenes? Well try Windows Movie Maker it's on windows XP I think so yah know!
