my "best friend"

Question Posted Wednesday February 1 2006, 10:16 pm

there's this girl i have been best friends with since 2nd grade(now we're in 8th). when we started middle school in 6th grade, me and her and these 3 other girls started hanging out together all the time and kind of became like a group and like best friends. me best friend since 2nd grade, she's always been the girl who got her older sibling's hand me downs so didnt dress all "cool" and had strict parents and never acted like a teen(i guess u would say) but she's so nice and funny that u love her anyway. but this year, she's started dressing better and acting all outgoing with the "popular" girls, who i know she is sort of friends with(i am too) but not really good friends and i feel like shes hanging out with them a lot more than out group lately. i feel like she doesn't talk to me anymore. what should i do?
