how do i change a firewall to allow me to access limewire and AIM?

what kind of firewall?
windows firewall-
double click on the lil computer sign on the botttom left hand corner of the screen.
then click properties.
then click on the advanced tab
then firewall settings.
then go to exceptions and click the box next to limewire.
this should allow limewire to work.
Other firewalls should have the same basic idea.
just go to fire wall settings-exceptions and then check limewire.

if you have aol, go to the top of your toolbar hit settings, scroll to the f's then hit firewall, you can tamper with it there.

im pretty sure you need a password
but on mine you can unblock things in program control and webfilterings
