Question Posted Thursday January 26 2006, 7:57 pm

My friend recentaly dated this 17 year old boy who turned out to be a pervert (Common sense, why did she expect a 17 year old to be dating a 13 year old?) Her best friend was against it from the beginnning but now that they have broken up, shes taken interest in him. Shes a liar, a terrible best friend and stubborn for believing the stuff he tells her.
Trouble has only arised since she became friends with all of us, including this and changing one of my close friends into a narrow minded person. My guy friend is yelling at her all the time now, and our friendship seems on the rocks.
My question is whether to let the relationship go on, watch her get hurt and let her relize what a mistake she made (I've tried hard enough to tell her what he really "loves" about her) Or to put our friendship to and end since all of our friends seem to have a problem with her every other week.

Well, that's up to you. Do you want to put forth the effort to keep trying to help out your friend, or do you want to just cut your losses and move on with your own lives? Is it worth trying to help her? Are you going to be able to abandon your friend?

It really depends on how you feel about this. I can't speak for yourself, so you'll have to weigh the options and decide what's best for yourself.
