three's a crowd

okay so my best friend and i have known each other for 3 years and weve been best friends for atleast a year and a half now we have a new friend and weve known her since september but i have a problem. whenever we hang out someone is always left out and its always me. i love my friends and i dont want to blame anyone especially our new friend b/c she hasnt done anything wrong but im like being forgotten and pushed out i never hang out w/ them anymore and they always hang out now its like our new friend has taken my place and then they made this big deal about it today and it really made me mad bc they were like were not leaving you out but they are im not in there profiles anymore on aim and theyre in each others i feel like they dont care if im theyre friend or not they never ask me to hang out anymore and if they do im always the last one asked. im not like a wet blanket by any means but im not insane either i have a good head on my shoulders and our new friend had the nerve to tell me today that she has more in common w/ her than i do and thats why theyre such good friends i dont want to be forgotten plz someone HELP! (thanx sorry this was so long!)

In short, there is nothing you can do about this situation. You may have known someone a long time but that doens't mean that someone else down the road might have more in common with them than you. It may be difficult for you to realize what is going on but at the same time you have to accept. Each of us have a purpose when we have friends, and in time it changes. Maybe your best friend's needs have change and this new friend is what she need at the moment. Just try not to think of it much, I am pretty sure it's goign to be a bit difficult. It is hard for any friend, of that length, to just have walk out of your life.
