washing wool My mom got me some socks for Christmas that came with no fiber content or washing instructions. I think they must be all or mostly wool though. I've never had to deal with washing wool before (never washed my wool sweaters) but you can't go on wearing socks over and over without washing them. How do I wash wool? Do I wash it with the rest of my clothes? Do I hand-wash it, if so, do I use normal detergent or something special? I hope it doesn't have to be dry cleaned, it seems ridiculous to dry clean socks.

DO NOT WASH THEM IN THE WASHING MACHINE. In like 30 minutes they could shrink so much that they can't even fit like a 7 year old. You have to wash wool by hand. Fill up a bucked of water and scrub 'em. You can use normal detergent. ]

♥ im sure you can wash in the washing machine but don't dry them. They will shrink. Use regular laundry soap. ]
