My mom got me some socks for Christmas that came with no fiber content or washing instructions. I think they must be all or mostly wool though. I've never had to deal with washing wool before (never washed my wool sweaters) but you can't go on wearing socks over and over without washing them. How do I wash wool? Do I wash it with the rest of my clothes? Do I hand-wash it, if so, do I use normal detergent or something special? I hope it doesn't have to be dry cleaned, it seems ridiculous to dry clean socks. According to the First Testament in the Bible, God put Adam & Eve in the Garden of Eden, the "paradise," and he put out several trees, and told Adam and Eve that the apple tree was poisoned and proclaimed that she shouldn't eat it's fruit. Supposedly, a nasty snake came along and told Eve that God was just being fickle and that the apple tree gives you "Almighty Powers" and she ate an apple from the tree, and she passed it on to Adam. God got angry. And penalized Eve and Adam. And sent them to barren wastelands. They were so ashamed of themselves that they covered up their bodies. Blame was especially put on Eve because she was the one who got tricked. That's what "the curse" is. From then on, women were treated badly by extremists in the Christian Church because of that.
But that's just a myth. You don't have to believe that.

Hey I had my period for the past 2-3 years now. Now that I'm getting oldr and going out with more people I have started to use tampons. Thats not the problem, I get them to go in, but it hurts like an ubbearable pain. When I get it all the way up it feels like it is rubbing against something, like it is trying to break threw it. (it can't be my cherry I'm not a virign) My friend said to make it hurt less she put vasaline on the of the tampon and it went in fine. So my question is should I try the vasaline thing, or is there something wrong?

If you say that it feels like it's rubbing against something, it's probably that you're pushing it in too far. That 'thing that the tampon is trying to break through' is your cervix, the barrier between the vagina and the uterus.

I have a friend, well he's actually a sisters friend, but I would also consider him my friend and I'm sure he would do the same. He's in 9th grade and I'm in 10th. One day while we were out we were on the topic of God and he said he didnt believe in God. He says he thinks Jesus existed but that he was just a normal guy. He said if God existed then he wouldn't have diabetes.
Now I want to educate him about God and help him accept him into his life. I feel it is my duty as a Christian to guide him to a better life with God, because you are supposed to help the people who don't believe. He is a really sweet boy, and I told him that I was going to teach him and he said "you can try but it won't happen" so if he said I could try I'm going to make every effort too!
My problem is I don't know how to approach it. How should I start off with this teaching and showing? I've considered asking my pastor but I decided to come here first. Thanks for any help! (link)

I wouldn't force him to do anything. I'm an atheist and I can tell you, trying to force someone to believe when they don't is a great way to turn someone against you! I lose respect for people who pervasively keep trying to make a Christian out of me. If you are an active Christian, that's great. But you need to be accepting of people who don't have exactly the same ideas and opinions about God as yours. Think about it...how would you feel if an atheist kept trying to make you an atheist?
