Tampons?
Hey I had my period for the past 2-3 years now. Now that I'm getting oldr and going out with more people I have started to use tampons. Thats not the problem, I get them to go in, but it hurts like an ubbearable pain. When I get it all the way up it feels like it is rubbing against something, like it is trying to break threw it. (it can't be my cherry I'm not a virign) My friend said to make it hurt less she put vasaline on the of the tampon and it went in fine. So my question is should I try the vasaline thing, or is there something wrong?

I had the same problem, but then i tried tampax pearl. so try those, and if you have the same problem your probably using to big of a tampon or pushing it up to far

Maybe you're tampon is too far up. Don't push it so far in. Also it could be too big. Use a smaller size and dont push so far up, then see how you feel.

hmm yeah sometimes to make it go in easier i have heard of people using vaseline .. but thats not really good for you. you should try like KY jelly. that should help you out alot. sometimes after having sex you get kind of sore. so just try that and see how it works. my mom is a nurse. lol. so i know all this stuff.

its too far in or just the wrong size. since your not a virgin its kinda surprising that it would hurt you.maybe dont put it in as far up, see how that feels. <3

If you say that it feels like it's rubbing against something, it's probably that you're pushing it in too far. That 'thing that the tampon is trying to break through' is your cervix, the barrier between the vagina and the uterus.

It might be that the tampon is too big. Try a size smaller, or a couple sizes smaller. Tampons are not supposed to hurt. If you've had intercourse, a tampon shouldn't be a problem.

No, don't put that shit on there. You're either pushing it too far up or using one that's too big. And it wouldn't be your cherry anyway because that's closer to the opening.
