Something is seriously wrong with me

Question Posted Monday January 9 2006, 1:07 am

17/female.

I've been in two relationships, and they've been great except there's always been something really tiny and pointless that I've dwelled on and thus never been able to be fully happy. I don't know what's wrong with me. For example, I'm with a wonderful guy right now but it really, really bothers me that he's not a virgin. I know this is really stupid because the past shouldn't matter, but I dwell on things. What can I do to stop thinking about these things and enjoy myself? Does anyone else find that stupid little things concern them in a relationship? I hate feeling this way!!

Thanks

I'm guessing your a virgin then, things like that probably are bothering you because you think in this context.

He's not a virgin=
-He's been with another woman intimately.
-Another woman had him first.

Try to think this way.

He's not a virgin=
-He'll know what he's doing when you guys do the deed.

- He's hot enough to want to be with you even though your a virgin( again I'm just guessing here).

The point is if this still bothers you tell him about it. you never know he might reassure you he wants you only or he might even say something cute like " baby I regret it cause your the only one I want to lose my virginity to" lol

If it's something that's important to you in a relationship, I don't see anything wrong with being a little picky. By realizing now what you don't like in a relationship, it will hopefully help you choose better relationships in the future. Everyone seeks certain things in a relationship; it's completely natural. You just have to choose which things are important to you and which you can let slide.

Hi,
First of all, nothing is seriously wrong with you! Usually when girls act this way, it means that they don't really want a relationship. Stop taking things so seriously and learn to just have fun- and not judge the people that you date. There are also a lot of perks to being single and you might want to try it for a while if you havent yet.
