Moving away
My best friend is moving next june(2007) and I won't have any body to relate and hang out with in jr high(9th grade). My 2 best friends in the 5th grade moved away and now this is happening. We both can't believe what's going on. She's told her mom that she was not moving and that she would glue her feet to the floor. She sais that Me and her boyfriend should become best friends b/c we have a lot in common, I just don't know what to do. I feel really depressed right now. What should I do?

Make new friends now. You can all hang out with them. That way you can have people who miss your friend too. Also you wont have to be lonely next year. It's not that you need to replace her but having a few best friends will make the pain of her leaving ease a little. Maybe you should try and become friends with her boyfriend. I bet your friend knows that you would get along and she wont have to worry about you (or him) having no one to relate to. Enjoy the time you can spend with her and try to make new friends also.

wow i noe exactlly how u feel..i've had 2 best friends move away. Okk heres the thing when my best friend(lauren) moved away i was so sad cause i didnt really talk to anyone but her cause she was always there. but when she moved i was sad for the first few months and i still am sad cause i remeber all of our memorys but i got alot more friends cause she moved. You will find another best friend i promise and you should still stay best friends with ur friend thats moving. yeahh hope that helped=]

wow. do i know how you feel. when i was going into middle school. [7th grade]. my best friend in the entire world moved away and it seemed like the world was ending. but in the end i did make a lot of new friends. and the most important thing is to keep in touch. aim, telephone, letters, etc. i know it may seem like the worlds ending but its not really. and as hard as it is to not see your best friends every day you have to just deal with it.
[i know you've probably heard all of this before and are like "yeah, yeah, blah, blah, blah" but this is the only advice i can think of to give. hope i helped a little]
