It's a scam, and here is how it works:

You can find ads in the paper for envelop stuffing all the time. "Send in $1 for an informaiton pack." The information pack you recive tells you to create your own ad in the paper. So now when some one sends you $1 requesting information, you "sutff and envolpe". You just made $1 for stuffing 1 envelop!

You could make $100s in week!!!!!!!!
(If that many people feel for your scam!)

For the most part, I believe they are scams. I do know someone that found one that wasn't a scam, but they said you don't get paid enough for it to be worth all the trouble you have to go through.

If you do decide to do it, make sure to check with the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) to make sure the company is legit and that there aren't any complaints against them. Also, if they're promising lots of money per envelope, chances are it's a scam.

Yes, that is a scam. Those are nearly always scams. If they don't have an office you can actually visit it is a scam. Don't send in money for "supplies". If it were a real job they would pay you. You can get more information about other scams at your State Attorney General's website. There are books in the library about scams and you can type in "work at home scams" in Google to see if they have anything there. You are better off getting a real job.
